About:

This is a portfolio that showcases parts of my most recent visual and academic work.

In November 2011 I was awarded the title of "Msc in Design and Digital Media" at the Edinburgh College of Art/University of Edinburgh with distinction on the final project.
My final project consisted of a digital silhouette animation short entitled "Fragment" and an essay discussing ways in which certain aesthetics and virtues of traditional non-digital silhouette animation can be achieved by means of digital media.

My undergraduate studies were in marketing, whereas my work experience varies from carrying out office jobs to being a technician trainee in the media industry and editing dictionaries for a publishing company.

I have always been attracted to all kinds of visual arts. Music, reading and writing have been with me ever since I can remember.

During the last couple of years I have been writing, working as a translator/editor and practicing video art and animation on a freelance basis.
